Hello.
My name is Riley and I am from Kansas, United States. I am a student at the University of Kansas and I am studying strategic communications and marketing. I am interested in creative marketing, social media, and event planning. Most of my previous experience has been in marketing and social media. After I finish school, I hope to find a job that allows me to express my creativity within all three of these areas.
This summer I was given the opportunity to visit Prague, Czech Republic for eight weeks while interning with Business & Professional Women Czech Republic (BPWCR). I decided to spend my summer in Prague, Czech Republic because of the central location the country has within Europe. I have been told by many people how beautiful and historical Prague is. and I wanted to come and see for myself. This is my first time visiting Europe and I am very excited to travel, learn, and explore during my time here.
I chose to work with BPWCR because of the Me Too movement, which is a very prevalent topic in the media right now, particularly in the United States. This controversial movement has become well-known throughout many countries, and I am interested to learn how it plays a role within the Czech Republic and how it differs from that in the United States.
