This activity of our project will be held in a village Kikinda laying in the North Banat District of Serbia. It is situated in the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina. The village has a Hungarian ethnic majority and is located approx 2 hours from Belgrade and 1,5 hrs from Szeged (Hungary). Population of 1,164 (2011 census).
Youngsters will be dedicated to exploration of citizenship, its place in EU strategies and documents. They will also work on methods engaging youth into activities exploring their skills and triggering local activities.
Kikinda village
Program:
- Day 1 - arrival day and welcome dinner
- Day 2 - 6 - team activities including exploring town and surrounding
- Day 7 - departure day, ends with breakfast
Financial conditions:
– Food, accommodation and activities are 100% covered by the project
– Travel costs are 100% covered by the project up to a maximum of 170 EUR / participant
- Travel insurance is not covered
As a result of the participation in this project, will be issued a European certification (“Youthpass”) certifying the skills gained and valid for the European CV.
Travel info:
Citizens of EU member states and selected Western Balkan countries can enter Serbia with valid ID card. Participants from participating countries on this project do not need visa to enter Serbia.
We strongly recommend obtaining travel insurance, even though it is non-refundable.
Local currency is DINAR. 1 EUR = approx 123.5 DINARS.
